The principal focus of Resource Synergies Ltd is on management and business psychology issues.
Mark O'Sullivan is the lead consultant in this area. Following a scholarship to Cambridge, where he took a degree in Classics, he then won entry to the civil service fast stream. Later he gained additional qualifications in business psychology, HR and finance. He is currently Finance Director of the Association of Business Psychologists and member of the Public Sector Forum Steering Group of the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development.
He has spent many years in senior roles in the Department of the Environment and the Scottish Office, as well as in a number of public bodies and in local government. He has advised Ministers on environment and education policy, piloted Parliamentary legislation, implemented a series of public sector reforms from the Financial Management Initiative to Chartermark and the Business Excellence Model, negotiated international treaties on behalf of the UK, and managed a series of projects from a 1982 review of planning control, via the response to the Braer oilspill in Shetland, to the nursery vouchers initiative and the setting up of a number of public bodies. He left the public sector and established Resource Synergies Ltd in 2005. He has a number of charitable roles.

Resource Synergies also has an interest in well-being at work. Trisha Harbord is the lead consultant in this area. She began her career with academic work on German literature before qualifying as a teacher of the Alexander Technique. She has broadened her skills in the Technique internationally, and is now one of its senior exponents in the West of England.
Resource Synergies can call on a wide range of additional capacity at need, including specialist executive search, marketing and IT experts.
